Problem
When I try to load a household I get sent back to the map. I also received the Error: The Game failed to Load. Error Code: 121:8a89078a. It’s recommended that you relaunch your game.
Cause
This bug occurs in connection with the Scenario: Finding Love after breakup. The scenario doesn’t load properly and causes the error.
Solution
Try the solution below to solve the issue. You are then able to load the household without an error.
- Load the faulty save through the Load Button.
- Load the household manager from the map and and find your household
- Move one of the Sims out (with Split household)
- Load your lot with just one Sim.
- Go back to Manager World and load the household manager again.
- Move the Sim that you have moved out back in.
- Load your lot. The error should now be gone.
