Sims can’t ski/snowboard/sled (Routing)

Problem

I’m sending my Sim to ski/snowboard/sled. He’s walking up to the starting point of the slope, takes his ski/snowboard out and then waves as something was in the way.

Cause

This issue has two known causes for PC/Mac. For console the slopes are currently pretty much broken.

  • You placed a restaurant in Yukimatsu and this is the active lot for your Sim
  • Your Sim uses an umbrella
  • Slopes are broken for Playstation and XBox

I haven’t thoroughly tested the umbrella yet but my vampires could not use the slopes if they had one on them.

Solution

  • Switch to a different non-restaurant lot and go skiing/sledding/snowboarding from there
  • Remove the restaurant from Yukimatsu
  • Put the umbrella back in the umbrella rack.
  • None for the console issues
