Today’s Christmas update brings us new Christmas items for the free pack. If you already have the free pack from previous years, there’s nothing you need to do. The items should just appear in your game after patching. If you don’t have the pack yet, head over to the Origin, click on the game in your library, choose the tab Extra Content, scroll down until you find The Sims 4 Holiday Celebration Pack and add that to your game for free.
There’s also several bug fixes such as the Lifestyle Brand issue, celebrity walk and disgust issue. Style Influencer should now also be able to fulfill their daily tasks and gardeners can finally be hired again without the need for any plants to be needing one.
There’s many more fixes but as it seems, leaf piles and Vampire Grandmaster Point issue aren’t solved just yet. Be aware that there can be some fixes that are not in the patch notes, especially if those are performance and tweaking fixes. Check your game before raving about something not being fixed.
Complete changes below.
It’s cold out there… wait, that’s a Groundhog Day intro. Also, it’s pretty “northern” stereotypical… my apologies. So, it’s a month out there in which some experience a cold season at this time of the cycle in which we revolve (or not) around the glowing ball in the sky, and in which festivities may or may not be observed, and others experience a warmer season, in which similar, or non-similar observances may be made. And I wish you an emotional response relevant to your desire.
With that said…
That’s that for the new, on to the old.
Ok, let’s see, it’s been awhile since I’ve done this, so let me just go through my checklist.
- Greeting, uh yep, check.
- The What’s New section, check.
- Various issue commentary, unnecessary expository, overuse of ellipses, random grammar atrocities, run on sentences…, check, check, and… um, check.
- References to old and outdated entertainment media, check.
- Sign off, and holiday wishes, not yet, but shortly.
Looks like everything is good to go!
