Sims are missing their Whims

Wants have been replaced with Wishes/Fears in Patch 1.90.358. They still have to be turned on in the gameplay options.

Issue

Since the Nov 13th 2018 patch I can’t see any whims above my Sims portrait.

Cause

With the patch you now need to explicitly turn on whims in your game options.

Solution

Go to your game options and choose the tab Gameplay. Make sure the checkbox for Show Whims is ticked and they will be back.

This option is global for all your save games.
