Tray folder causes extended loading times

Update

The issue with the tray folder has been fixed. There’s still other causes for extended loading times. More information can be found here: Game hangs on loading

Problem

It takes forever for my game to load.

Cause

This problem occurs if you are connected to the Internet and have quite a few files in your Tray folder (houses and Sims). Exact reason is unknown.

Solution

Put Origin in offline Mode before starting the game and only go online if you really need the gallery.
